I’m in my first semester of a Master in Teaching course, which will end with me being credentialed for elementary education. It isn’t the Masters Degree I originally had in mind, but it’s good.

We have a place in the front yard where I want to put the herb garden, but unfortunately it isn’t anywhere near full of dirt. So far it’s mostly getting filled with coffee grounds, because any other kind of compost would seem kind of icky to put in the front yard. And can you just imagine how many coffee grounds it takes to fill up a 16×4x2 planter? When, oh when, will I break down and just buy dirt?
For clarification, I’m a Discalced Carmelite secular. If I hadn’t moved when I did, I would have stayed in formation with my former community and made final promises last month; however, I moved to get married, and my new home was nowhere near any Carmelite group or community. For a year, I had no formation, so my temporary promises were extended. If all goes well, I hope to make final promises this December.
Please pray for me!
