quitting smoking was the hardest thing I have ever done, but it taught me that if I decide I want to do something that is entirely within my control, I can do it. That’s a lesson that outweighs the advantages of quitting itself. Now, how to do it? Exercize, taper off gradually and, once you have quit altogether, reward yourself every day with a treat. (I used chocolate.) Also, put aside the money you used to spend on smokes for something fun. If I were doing it today, for example, I would get a massage everytine I accumulated enough money not spent on smoking.
