Okay, so I’m not a cartoon voice yet… but I’m reading outloud, and in public! librivox is an awesome online project that has volunteers record public domain texts and then releases them (as ogg or mp3) for the world to hear.
I’m working on maing my narration more animated, and eventually I’ll see if I can create voice characters for the passages I read, but I think it’s a pretty good start so far…

Getting there!
I don’t really know if I can say I’ve done it yet, but I’m definitely on the right track. Some weeks I’m more “on” then others, but finding these yoga podcasts have definitely helped—and inspired me to try out some Vinyasa classes (which I like).
So I’m still swinging between extremes (6 days a week!... then none!), but I’m getting there!
In spite of scheduling conflicts!

Really, it’s all about the constant contact, I guess, which was sort of what we had before.
I don’t call her all the time (because of aforementionned scheduling issues) but we have email chats over the course of days, and manage to see each other pretty often.
:) It’s great to have her back in my life semi-regularly!
