Winter's on its way 1 week ago

I’ve been doing a lot of work in front of the computer, so I haven’t been getting as much exercise as I should. But I have been drinking more water and eating better, so it’s just a matter of getting more active. I’m going to be renovating the house as soon as my roommate moves out, so between that and the privacy to work out on my own I should start to see some improvement.

50mm 1.8 2 weeks ago

I picked up a 50mm 1.8 a few months ago. I’s a nice little lens for the money, I paid about $60 for it new. There’s a faster version of this lens, the 50mm 1.4. It’s better quality, metal and better glass rather than plastic and okay glass, but the price higher: $ 389 new. And the 50mm 1.2 is $1500 new!

So the next lens I’m saving up for will probably be the 100mm macro, which is over $500 new. I’d like to get the 28-70mm 2.8, but it’s over $1200, so that’s going to have to wait a while…
