How I did it: I went to an actual piercing parlor in San Diego -- a place that uses piercing guns is not your friend. My ears were not entirely closed up from years ago when I first got them done, so she just had to refresh the piercings.I got to go with a friend who wanted another nose ring, and the moral support was great.
