The Sucata Run is an annual fundraising banger rally for UK-based charity gemin-i.org and takes place during the summer bank holiday weekend.

Drive with us from Rouen (the stunning capital of Normandy) to Cabo da Roca, Europe’s most Westerly point in Portugal. See some of the continent’s most spectacular sites, meet new friends, raise money for a great cause and have a truly memorable holiday.
You don’t need to have an expensive car, be a mechanic, or even be into cars at all. All you need to have is a sense of adventure, humour and possibly a compass. To top it all the weekend culminates in a big party on one of the most sumptuous sun-kissed beaches in Europe.
All you need to do is: 1) Form a team 2-4 (preferably including someone who can drive!!) 2) Find an old banger (read the website for help with this) – or use any car available 3) Scrape together £100 per team to register (or £75 before July 1st) 4) Raise as much money as you can for Gemin-i.org projects, with the target of £1000 per team – £250 each.
The Sucata Run raises funds for London based charity Gemini-i.org. They specialize in bridging social and cultural divides, bringing disparate peoples across the world together and helping them to initiate conversations rather than wars.
