Watched The General tonight. It was very impressive to know that Buster Keaton did all of his own stunts in the movie. It was a silent film that totally held my interest.

Swing Time was incredible and I don’t even like dancing. I actually rewatched the first dancing scene 3 times. I can’t believe this movie wasn’t on the original AFI list while a piece of crap like American in Paris was on the list. As soon as I’m done with this list, I’m going to find other Astaire/Rogers films to watch.
The Last Picture show was unique and I enjoyed it. I think it might be even better when I see it again. And of course, it’s interesting to see all of those famous actors as kids…
