I’m 33 years old and currently live in upstate NY USA. I have reached a crossroads in my life, and I’d love to hear from you if you feel the same , or have been in my shoes. I have a career that I hate, and I am too free spirited to be tied down for any length of time. It is my dream to just sell everything I own, keep my most precious belongings with a friend, throw a few things in my back pack, and see the world. I consider myself an eccentric individual that somehow doesn’t belong in the structured world I live in. I am not rich by any means so travel isn’t an extravegance for me. I would end up with maybe 15K to do this with. I just feel like there is so much out there that I want to do and see and there has to be away for me to accomplish it. Meet different people along the way, see the sunset from the other side of the world, experience different culture, not live on a time line. I sometimes worry that this kind of adventure is only for teenagers, some of friends tell me I am crazy for wanting this, but no matter how hard I try, I just can’t loose the desire. ANyone feel this way too? Please tell me your thoughts…
