Four and a half stars. I’m a libertarian, still not sure how I feel about libertarian paternalism.
Loved it. 4 3/4 stars. Deducting 1/4 of a star for the horribly inconcise, ridiculously long John Galt speech (60 pages) and the fact that the book is 1000+ pages long.
Meh. Assigned reading for class. Burned through 150 pages in four days. Would have been faster but the subject matter was kinda dull. Decent chapter on linguistics but there are many better books written on the subject. A very lazy treatment of the subject matter for someone who otherwise would not seek out better.
I sold 61 books and earned back roughly $300. Yay!
Although, I do have some straggler books that people just aren’t buying at a rate that would be profitable for me. :(
Actually, I’m not selling them on ebay, I’m selling them on Amazon. With the recent financial drama and I’ve had to get creative about how to pay for school. Just started yesterday and have already sold 7 of the 80 books I have listed. Woohoo!
I’ve only got 9 months left and then I will have finally graduated. Holding on to these books when they can help me survive just a little bit longer doesn’t make any sense. Especially not when I’ve been doing so well… I’ve got a 3.9 GPA for pete’s sake!

Great book. Should be required reading for anyone who drives a car or rides in one. Five out of five stars.
The career counseling center at school is definitely geared toward traditional college age students with little to no work experience. Nice for them, terrible for me. Looks like I’m going to have to find other avenues for support.
After the 4 and a half years of looking forward to getting this done, I couldn’t even tell you exactly when it was that I mailed off the last check.
But, yes, my car is completely paid off. 6 months ahead of schedule. yay! And I don’t believe I was ever late on a single payment :).
Pic below is almost the exact same, except mine is blue and probably has a lot more dings on the front and back bumpers. LOL, the joys of living in a city.
Read this book for class. I appreciated the fact that I learned a lot about the oil and its implications as a worldly strategic commodity. I did, however, not care for the writing or repetitiveness of the authors. I would not recommend this book as I can only guess that there must have been someone else interested in the same subject capable of doing a better job.
After achieving my BMI goal of 21, I wanted to do even more to improve my health. Body Fat percentage is also an indicator of overall health and since I know I have an issue with sweets… I thought it’d be a good idea to also track it.
I bought a cool new Health O Meter Scale that calculates weight, BMI, and Body Fat Percentage.
It appears that I am wavering between 25% and 22% body fat. That is considered the average range for females. But since I want to be in the best shape possible, I’m going to see if I can’t slowly work my way down to a consistent 20%. Not sure if I will ever be able to get below that (I think I’d miss the occasional treat too much!).
I had to use the money I was saving for my last car payment to pay my rent since my financial aid check is still held hostage by the school until tomorrow.
But then I will be done! 6 months ahead of the loan schedule. Yay!
Poor car. I’ve managed to slink by using my brights for… gasp… almost a year now!
Normally, I fix my taxes so that I either break even with the government or end up owing them a few hundred dollars. I’m hoping that my pay cuts, months of not working, and reduced hours have dropped me into a much lower tax bracket and that I get a bit of a refund this year.
If I do, I plan on giving the car it’s much needed TLC. Especially since it’s going to be completely paid off in a few days!
