Communication with babies is interesting! 23 months ago

We read the book Sign With Your Baby by Joseph Garcia and it was very helpful. We also had both of the Baby Signing Time videos, and the My First Signs – Baby Einstein video. Our daugher loved these videos.
Our daughter has appropriately used over 30 signs by the age of 15 months. Surprisingly, she was able to tell us things she would never have been able to tell us otherwise, such as when she had to go potty! She would also tell us when she was thinking about her sister or whatever she was thinking of. There’s no way we would ever have known what she was thinking about without baby sign language.

7 months so far 2 years ago

My darling baby girl turns 7 months old tomorrow. She has never had a drop of formula in her life and I intend to keep it that way. Working and pumping can be a pain but it’s worth it. I do think it’s helped keep my daughter cold and flu free while the rest of us have been sick.
