I currently have 22 unwatched dvds. And nothing to do over most of Xmas and New Year. Hence I will be attempting to get through as many as I can in the next ten days.

Well I finally bought a new camera. But I still can’t afford an SLR : ( So I went for a very clever regular digital camera instead. Maybe I’ll get an SLR one day…
Well one surprising outcome of moving to London is that I find I suddenly have lots more time on my hands for reading. This is because I have a 45 minute commute to work and back on the tube every day – so that’s an hour and a half to read every day.
On top of that, having moved into a shared flat, I didn’t have room for all of my books in my new place, so I only brought the books I’ve never read and I have been working my way steadily through them. Since October I’ve read the first two Girl With a Dragon Tattoo novels, The Constant Gardener, Carrie Fisher’s autobiography, Naomi Wolf’s Promiscuities, The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake, PopCo, The Witch of Portobello, and probably others that I have forgotten. Once I’ve read all the ones currently on my bookcase, I’m considering treating myself to a Kindle!
