How I did it: i saw three different thoracic surgeons before deciding on one i trusted who performed the procedure that suited me best. i had months of tests and appointments, including 2 echocardiograms, an EKG, a pulmonary function test, a regular chest x-ray and a CT scan. once everything came back, it was pretty clear the insurance would sign off, and they did, and i went into the hospital and came out ten days later with two titanium bars in my ch… Read how I did it…
How I did it: time management, a dynamic to-do list, assuming things take longer than they do = anti-procrastination. stop calling friends, stop reading for fun, allow yourself X many hours of television a week and buckle down. Read how I did it…
yay! empowering, but it sucked not having someone to make snarky comments to, heehee.
it was fun being blonde – people look at you differently. but the damage to my hair was so beast. and really i think i was meant to be a brunette after all!
