How I did it: I wanted to get my sister a month-divided seed box for her wedding, however, all designs I could find were too mumsy, twee or practical. She's a high glamour gardener and needs something pretty.So, I bought a largish gift box from Paperchase, and put a card divider into it so I could put seeds on one side and bits and bobs in the other. How I did it: We went on an inclusive Bath Spa package which included lunch at the Pump Room and a tour of the Roman Baths; these are widely available on the internet and offer excellent value for money. December is a month so dense with social obligation it can be hard to take time out for yourself, but this month was good; a party, friends round for fondue on Christmas eve, and a day out traipsing around London looking at art. Fun.
Actually, this got pretty exciting. Thought Bubble was probably the acme of the month—very thrilling to be published. It was work, but good work.
