Only had a couple of lucid dreams but they were very cool. I could control everything including people and make things appear. For example I jumped out of a really high window and made a big tree appear so I could fall into it and catch on the branches.
I find it happens when I’m napping in the daytime and I wake up slightly, realise that what I was just thinking about was actually a dream then drift back into it. At that point I am both dreaming and aware that I am dreaming and so I am able to control it.
It’s not at all like ‘imagining’ because everything is very vivid and detailed and I don’t control everything – only what i choose to.
Very cool.
Getting a (albeit part-time) real job has forced me to reel back my sleeping habits to something slightly less vapirish. it’s good.
