I pay a little over the minimums on my credit card each month, because with school, everything seems to cost money. I have to pay for tuition and books by myself, which is a struggle. I am going on a trip to San Francisco soon, which sounds like a waste of money but the flight and hotel were gifts, so all I need to provide is the spending money. After I save up a minimal amount of spending money to go, I am going to start making larger and larger payments. I am hoping that my tax refund will pay a substantial amount of my credit card bill off as well. I don’t spend a lot of money on myself at all anymore, so I know that I am not wasting money anywhere else.

How I did it: This may not work for everyone who really cares about their previous entries, but I removed all of the current goals on my list, therefore deleting all entries/cheers/etc. associated with them. I then proceeded to select a very small number of goals that I could accomplish and actively work on, rather than abstract goals that would remain on my list forever, making me feel like a slacker. Read how I did it…
I really wanted to make some extra money over break, so I’m working two jobs. I have the earliest, lamest schedule.
Mon-Thurs 6a-230p [these are the bad days because i’m on my feet the entire time!]
Fri 9-4
Sat-Sun 10-4 [Friday and Saturday are the best nights because I get to sleep in til 9… which I don’t think really counts as sleeping in.]
I know that there are a lot of people who work much more difficult hours and jobs, but I was looking forward to break so much, until I found out today that I have such an early schedule.
I literally have not had one day off since September 5. And I won’t get one until Friday, January 2. Almost four months with no days off.
I have three weeks left. I can do this.
Any ideas on how to survive this would be appreciated GREATLY.
