I went with my best friend, Nikki. The journey started with her six hour drive from her house in Ohio to my house in Indiana. From there, we left Indiana and went to Tulsa, Oklahoma. We saw our favorite band, Hanson, in concert, reunited with some friends from all over the US, and spent three days there. Then we headed back toward Indiana. We stopped on the way back and stayed overnight in Illinois and headed for home the next day.
It was an awesome trip that was inspired by seeing Hanson, but became so much more than that. Just driving, talking, and singing along with the radio as we passed through each state made the trip amazing. Even getting lost a few times along the way wasn’t so bad … in retrospect.
