get a dog
I love my dog, Niña!

She is a Boxer Bulldog with too much energy and a face that makes you forgive everything.

I have always loved dogs but my fiance didn’t feel that we had a life condusive for pets. So it took me almost 4 years to convinence him. Finally, I explained that I would stop trying to baby him so much if I had something else to spend my time on. So the search was on for the ultimate member of our family. I was on waiting list for over six months to get a female of the breed, but my Niña was worth the wait. Like I said before, I really love her. Just to watch how much she enjoys running, playing, eating, and just being near me is so rewarding. I constintly have a smile on my face when I’m near her.

If you have time in your life and want a companion that doesn’t talk back, I recomend getting yourself a dog. But do your research first!

build a house with habitat for humanity
This was hard work & very fun.

I was involved in a Blitz build of 15 houses in one week in Selma, Alabama. After the first day, I got this really big bruise, the size of a softball, on my leg and I don’t remember how, but it looked cool. It was a lot of really hard work and I was so tired that I could not even eat. But when you see the people that are going to live in that house working right there beside you, you just want to work even harder.

dance like no one is watching (read all 2 entries…)
If you want to call it dancing....

I took a latin aerobics class last night. We learned a latin/hip hop dance routine. I looked silly in the mirror, but I kept trying to do the steps just like the instructor. I really enjoyed it. I finally got to be a part of the Rhythm Nation…..Watch out Janet!
