Last year, I drove from Salt Lake City, Utah to the Florida Panhandle when we moved. Close … but not close enough. That trip took 5 days in a Penske truck towing a car behind. Add Nevada and California, and it would probably a good 6 or 7 days, allowing for a sufficient number of stops.

How I did it: Loaded everything we owned on a truck, drove across country, and started over from scratch. It took my daughter 8 months or so to find a job, so it's been scary, but very worth it. Glad I did it. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I joined Weight Watchers and followed the program. It works when you do it right. Accountability is crucial, and attending the meetings. I've tried doing it on my own, but it doesn't work as well. Meetings, meetings, meetings. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Found a good therapist, told her the absolute truth, faced each session with an open mind, and did everything she asked me to do between sessions, no matter how difficult it was. Read how I did it…

I really decluttered when we moved. Threw away lots of stuff I’d been holding onto for sentimental reasons and you know what? I don’t miss it. I still have to be careful, and don’t let myself create piles and stacks. They’re my downfall. I love living in a clutter-free zone.
In fact, I’ve now lost more than 100 pounds. The battery on my scale is dead, but if my daughter’s scale is accurate, I’ve dropped another 10 pounds or so, which puts me somewhere near 120 pounds. How did I do it? Got rid of a lot of stress. Forgave what I previously thought was unforgivable. Drank lots of water. Tried to eat sensibly. Increased my activity. Definitely worth doing. I feel like a different person.
