So worth it. If you dont have time to do the hike, then still go to MP on the train, but the hike is amazing and not all that hard. Well, there was times when it wasnt easy and it was cold at night (ie no sleep) but such an amazing experience. One of my best thus far in life!

I’ve played since I was a kid. It was hard at times being a girl and playing with boys – I was always called a “tomboy”. I hate that – why do we need to label things as male and female? Anyway, for any young girls out there, girls playing hockey is much more accepted (look at the Olympics – btw, congrats Canada!) and I encourage everyone and anyone, regardless of gender, age or whatever to get out there – you’ll have fun, I promise!!

I cant imagine going back now. Once I really, really thought about it, it was all over for me. And I’m convinced it’s right for me. Not for everyone (I dont care if someone else eats meat), but for me!!
