There are two things I want to do. I have always had an interest in furniture, making it and restoring old pieces that others have created.
The second is to carve tiki statues, for some reason I decided I wanted to do this about two years ago. Well Ive done it. Ive carved my first tiki statue. Ill post a picture soon.

How I did it: I lost my job in September. There was no way I could pay my bills with my unemployment. So I cashed in my 401k. Taxes where just one of many bills i paid off. Read how I did it…
Just today I started planning a trip to Key west. Ive been wanting to go for the longest time but especially this past year.
Does any one have suggestions of places to visit while I’m there? Ive heard Duval Street was a most see. I’m hoping to find a nice little bungalow to stay in. I don’t wont to go over board but since I may never get to go again id like to make the most of it.
I actually started my diet December 1st. Like most people Ive started and stopped numerous times. Never really losing any weight and if I did id get discouraged when I didn’t see the results I wanted. But this time I’m going about it differently. Rather than focusing on losing weight I’m concentrating on my health.
I noticed positive results right away. No more indigestion, heartburn, or feeling miserable after gorging my self. My blood pressure is much better.
I found two great web sites today. Think they will be a great help. The first one http://www.livestrong.com is a site that helps you keep track of your calorie intake. You can keep a log of what you eat right on there. They’ve already done the work for you. Check it out.
The 2nd site http://weightloss.about.com/od/eatsmart/a/blcalintake.htm will help you calculate you BMR or basal metabolic rate. You need to know this to determine how many calories you can eat and still lose weight.
