So I accomplished half of this goal. I did not eat fast food or drink a drop of soda this month. I worked out an average of three days a week. I did accomplish my goal, but I think I set out to accomplish too many goals at the same time. Next month I’m only going to focus on working out 5 times a week.

Okay, so I haven’t been eating fast food. Trust me, that’s really hard for me considering the hours that I work. I get off of work really late at night (sometimes early morning) and there’s nothing open. I really don’t want to cook at 1am, so the old me would go get McDonalds. Now I buy healthy frozen dinners and eat fruit at night. I have lost a few more pounds just by not drinking soda alone. I don’t even want soda and greasy foods anymore. Working out is another story… I’ve consistently been working out four days a week. But I really need to work out five days because that was my stated goal. So, starting today, I’m working out five days a week.
I know this is similar to my last goal, but here were two things that were not clear about the last goal : it needed to be more specific, and the deadline was too long. Bascially, with the last goal, even though I accomplished it, I waited until three weeks before my goal date to do any substantial work. This time my goal is more specific, and I have a shorter deadline. This will motivate me to stay on track every day.
