So yes, I didn’t quite get straight As, however the A in Physics was sort of an impossible goal. I got my B, which is good enough for me, so time to close this case.

How I did it: Unfortunately this probably isn't going to be very useful as I managed to lose over ten kilos in just under a year with pretty much minimal effort. I still never started eating breakfast regularly, and I didn't cut out all the crap I should have done. In fact, I was worried that when I went back to college I'd put it all back on, however I've kept losing weight. I think there are two main reasons for this: an increase in exercise and a de… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I learnt how to get ready in a shorter space of time, I used many alarms and I left myself a fair amount of time to get to the station. Admittedly I had a few close shaves but by the odd "jog" and so on, managed to get the right train every day for a month. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I used the Do-It website to find out about volunteering opportunities in my local area. I was looking for things that could double as work experience for medicine. Through them I wrote an application for an MS care home and they sent it to the centre for me, and kept me updated. I also volunteer at a hospital - I did this by getting directly in touch with the voluntary services co-ordinator. Read how I did it…

My A level results came out a couple of weeks ago – two As and a C. Could have been worse but not what I was exactly hoping for and the C was a bit of a kick in the teeth because even though I was only short of a B by nine marks, I just missed my uni offer.
But not for me the sad face; I’m going to spend this year getting some work experience in my chosen field, do a little travelling and resit a couple of modules to push my grade up.
It’s not quite what it says on the tin but I’ll consider this goal done when/if I’ve finally got my B.
Recently I’ve watched two more films that I can now tick off my list.
Little Miss Sunshine
I fully undrstand now why everyone went on about this film -it was so good. I welled up a little bit at the end, it was such a lovely finish. The cast was impeccable; I especially liked Steve Carrell, or at least his character. The script was also beautifully written and I didn’t feel any of those horrible forced cheesy Hollywood moments films often have.
Princess Mononoke
Another excellent film but then what else do you expect given the director? Not my favourite of his films but still really good; the animation was all done beautifully and the plot was great and exciting, plus there was the usual range of fun, interesting characters. Definitely deserves to be top 250.
