So in two days I will be turning 19.It hit me recently that I haven’t been all that happy these last few years, which strangely enough these are supposed to be the happiest years of your life.A big part of this has been having really bad anxiety, depression, and a non-existent self esteem.I decided I don’t want this year to be like the past few.My first step to finding and holding onto this happiness is to think back to the little things I enjoy-reading a good book, writing to pen pals, drawing and painting, watching funny movies.just the simple things. My plan is to start spending more time doing each of these hobbies that make me happy, make a few lifestyle changes(cutting back on partying, eat healthier, get back onto depression medication)and hopefully gain some confidence.I want to start living the life I want but the first step to this is to be happy.:]

I read alot already, but i tend to buy new books while I’m still half way through another one I already started and end up putting that one aside and not finishing the original book until months later.I think sticking to one book and reading it in a month will be a good idea for me and allow me to hang onto my money longer.lol For my first month Im going to be reading “Interview with the Vampire” by Anne Rice and hopefully just stick to that book alone for the month.I’ll post back in a month to share how it goes :]
