How I did it: I work at a camp over the summer, and they bring in speakers who talk to the kids or put on skits. Back when I actually attended this camp there was a ventriloquist who sang songs with her puppets, and I still remembered the rock song she sang years ago. I was telling my mom how the only way I'd learned my types of rocks was from her song, and I guess she passed on the message to the ventriloquist. How I did it: For years I've been struggling with my inability to ever open up to or talk to people honestly. I found a friend who is amazing and understanding and one night I was feeling too bad to hold it all in. Talking to her has become a habit now, and yes I second-guess whether I should talk to her or not quite a lot, but she's always there for me. :) Letting it out really helps me feel relieved, and I don't know what I'd do without her support now.
