I suppose this is worth doing – I just wish I wasn’t so busy and had more time to send thoughtful cards and messages. I corresponded with people in Germany and Denmark. Its a great concept – check out www.postcrossing.com
Definitely worth doing – but with all the pre-party chores, food prep, clean up and home renovation project-finishing it was very exhausting!
Be sure to build your menu around ease of preparation. The more you can do ahead, the more time you’ll have to enjoy your own cocktail party…
