How I did it: this went just fine. i was going to work my way up to a half of an hour slowly, starting today, making sure that i wouldn't have a hard time breathing. it turns out my lungs can handle more than i thought. running is a whole lot easier without smoker's lungs. instead of a half of an hour, i just ran for a whole hour. i wonder how long i have had the ability to do this and just didn't know it. i didn't breathe heavily the whole time. … Read how I did it…
How I did it: http://www.health.state.mn.us/divs/chs/osr/birth.htmlIt seems like some people paid a lot for their birth certificates. i paid $16. i didn't have to make a copy of my id, i just paid $1 to a notary to stamp my application while i was at the dmv for an unrelated matter. total spent: $17.44 ($.44 for the stamp) Read how I did it…
How I did it: i worked out at my regular club. i worked out while on vacation. i worked out at a different club (same name) today when i had to drive my nephews to their saturday activities. mostly, whenever i would get done with work and almost head straight home for an evening on the couch, i just told myself that i have no choice. i have made up my mind to do this, so i have to. i knew i would benefit as a result. i do have to admit, though, my bice… Read how I did it…

i am getting ever so close to achieving this goal. one class is already done for the semester.
in a side note, i was one of 3 women in my class to be awarded a t-shirt for having perfect attendance.
since january, i have lost my older brother, became estranged from one dear friend of mine, and had a miscarriage. this year has not been going well, and i’m feeling pretty alone.
as for my brother, yes, we were close. i moved to fayetteville to nanny for my oldest nephew while my brother was in the military, and i have lived a block away from his house for the last 7 years. we attended the same college and went out for beers after class together. we rushed out to pick each other up whenever and where ever our cars broke down, even if we weren’t particularly getting along at the time. we helped each other work on our cars. we socialized together. we told each other jokes. there were certain things for which i absolutely knew i could count on him, things for which i could never count on anyone else. i miss him terribly. after everything this year, i feel isolated and broken.
i have just been charging forth with so many things in an attempt to overcome fears that were not there before. since i am afraid of everyone and averything, i get the feeling that my normal judgment may be off, and some healthy fears are not being listened to as they should be. but maybe i was like that before. my 2nd skydiving instructor once commented on how calm i looked while we were up in the plane.
