contemplation

This was one of my life long goals for all of my adult life. I love to fly and don’t do it enough. I’d come close to taking a short flight in town before but I’m glad my first time in a helicopter was in Alaska. It was more than awesome, it was magical!

There were eight tourists going up, another couple and a family of four. There was a large copter and a four seater. I prayed to get the small one and we did. I saw the first bear of the trip sprint through a stream and go into the brush. We also spotted several mountain goats. The fabulous part was finding a pack of wolves feeding on a carcass. The pilot had flown there for fifteen years and he said he’d never seen that before.

It was so exhilarating that I would have gone right back up. I intend to go in another helicopter someday. I highly recommend this.

I had a recent experience with a person I only knew online where we chatted for a few weeks. It was fun and intellectually stimulating. I would like to find that again but don’t know how without going into the dating sites. I’m not looking for romance, just a caring person with room in their heart for a new friend.

The circumstance that connected me to the last chat friend was a wonderful fluke. I can’t recreate that, but I’d like to find a way to connect with someone I share similar interests with so we could exchange ideas about life. I found a chat tool that I liked immensely. It’s called Gush. I hope to use it again sometime with a special friend.
