How I did it: I just gave up "trying to be more outgoing" and let myself just be me. I'm still shy sometimes. But i've come to realize how people work. It's unrealistic to expect me to be as outgoing as the most socially-inclined person at school. She's wired that way and I am not. Satisfaction is the key ingredient here. Worrying about how not-outgoing I am just made me nervous. So I warmed up to people slowly and gained their trust as they gained min… Read how I did it…
How I did it: i suppose this one doesn't really have a certain point where it's completely finished. but i think i've mastered it. :) I went skydiving for my birthday, which is probably the most stereotypical "new and exciting experience." I've also been rock climbing outdoors, pole vaulted for my track team, helped pull the senior prank, eaten ice cream on the baseball field with two random kids at 1am, and spilled my guts to a hefty majority of … Read how I did it…
How I did it: in a trunk, in a bed, on the neck, on my head. in the rain, in the park, in the light, (but mostly) in the dark. on a couch, on the floor, and until my lips are seriously sore. in a car a time of two, against a wall with you-know-who. :) hahaha. how did i do it? I got a boyfriend. I found someone who I could be myself with. And when it didn't work out, i remembered being seriously kissed and wanted that feeling back. so i waited until the… Read how I did it…

I have grown increasingly tired of the material culture I live in. In an attempt to appreciate what really matters, I want to de-clutter my life. I’ve taken the first steps by donating clothes and items I no longer have a purpose for. I want to be a bona fide thrift shopper. No more full-price for anything. No unnecessary purchases without getting rid of something else in my closet. While books and clothes are hard for me to live without, I’m trying to consolidate. With the dawn of owning my own apartment very near, no doubt new “things” will be on my mind. I can only hope to remember my promise to keep my purchases, my space, and my life simple.
Belated, but I was in love once. It was puppy love for sure, but nonetheless, I was very much in love. It’s over now. And there are no hard feelings. Still awkward on occasion (a college campus is only so big). But it is something I will always carry with me and never regret.
