BJT 22 months ago

Finally, I received my exam result for BJT.

It was more than what I expected. I aimed J3 but I couldn’t believe my eye when I saw the number 2.

learn to rollerblade well
Gone the Fear 2 years ago

Last Saturday went roller blading with my friends. One of my friend was just a beginner like my self, the other one has played for quite some time.

Unlike snowboarding, although the same balancing sports, roller blading is something I still can’t master very well. I never had the chance to roller blade in high school since my mom won’t let me (because she think it’s too dangerous.) Envy with my friends who own roller blade once twice a year I sneak behind my mothers back and lend my friend’s roller blade and of course, I can’t learn very well.

This time, it’s different. My friend taught how me how to blade safely and even my friend who don’t know how to blade (he rarely goes into the rink) decide to learn as well. At first it seemed scary blading at even moderate speed, trying to avoid from falling. But after my 1st fall, the fear seemed to be dissapearing, and I had more fun than being more cautious.

Hope I had more chance to blade next, and maybe who knows buy a pair of roller blade.

My Luck 2 years ago

I hardly had any time finding sensei, at least a sensible one yet less expensive.

I thought of seeking help from some of my Japanese friends to find someone who is good at teaching Japanese, not just daily conversation but at an advanced level.

Today, I couldn’t believe my luck. As I was reading email at work, my Japanese friend took a look at my schedule book and saw one of my weekly goals (I put small goals each week in my schedule). She said, “You’re looking for a Japanese teacher? I can help teach you if you like. You can come over to my house sometimes.”

I couldn’t believe what she said. Although I have been looking for a professional teacher with my hectic working schedule, it’s difficult for me to set time. But since I know what I want to learn (syllabus) and my friend is working at the same place, it would be easy to adjust the time.

Thank God.
