I’ve spent roughly 25 years working in Human Factors, Usability, Information Architecture, an User Experience Design. I’ve worked for IBM, Apple, AT&T, Sony, HP, and on and on. I’ve developed iPhone applications, Surface Table interfaces, online gaming communities, electronic voting platforms, music players, and ecommerce applications a-plenty. What I really want is to spend a year, or more, working outside the US. I would love to take all that I have learned about process, discovery, testing, and design and apply it elsewhere in the world. Any suggestions? anyone out there need a nomadic user experience designer? Will Task Flow for food ;)

Sooooo much to learn. This could take a while.
The point where English is the predominant language o the internet has long since passed. From where I’m standing it would probably be a safe bet that sometime in the next ten years I’ll need to be fluent in Chinese if I wan to be viable in the UXD industry. Just a thought.
