I’ll post some pictures soon.
I ended up making the platform bed from the link, a bit bigger though, and made a bamboo edging and bamboo ‘boxspring’. I’ll post pics on this soon. Works great!

Just starting to research doing this as I have all my furniture in my new apt except a bed. Just built some bamboo curtain rods today, so that gave me some confidence to think this is possible!
I’ll update when I find some good info/directions.
Any of you know where to buy inexpensive wood?!
