Buy a house or at least rent a bigger, nicer place

I rented a larger place and will move in August 1, 2009. The lease is for one year. I plan on looking for houses to purchase during that period so as to finish the second aspect of the goal (buying a place).

BTW, in a law-of-attraction-like way, the new apartment basically fell on my lap when a friend of a friend informed the friend that there was an opening in his apartment. I snagged onto the opprotunity and the rest, as they say, is history.

I sign the lease next week.
