where do I start? 3 years ago

I love my new house but sure can’t figure oout where to start. Need new furniture, paint colors, rugs, light fixtures and backsplash. I want to do one project a month, the first one being a backsplash and color in the kitchen/breakfast/den. Big space, few walls.

I had sucky math teachers… i think I am permanently ruined in this area :) I love learning about the general principles of space and the laws governing it, but could never take those ideas and put them into reality with a formula or an equation. But boy would I like to…

We negotiated a great piano in with our house purchase, and neither my husband nor myself have a clue!! Can’t wait to play something complicated like what you’d hear at a wedding….
