I find that writing poetry is a release for me;; I used to do other [[bad]] things for releases, but I’ve turned to this for comfort.
I too, keep a poetry notebook [[& Notepad]] with my thoughts & lines. Most is emotional stuff;; that I have either been through or thought about.
