I love living away from my parents, and not in Michigan. I love Ohio. I just love everything! :p
One of the things I loved most about London was being able to go to a pub and just relax with friends over a few drinks. Sure, I can do that in the US when I turn 21, but thats the point. I can’t right now. Plus, theres a whole different feeling. In the US, it’s always about time. And unfortunately, it was about time a lot in London because we wanted to see everything, but for some reason, whenever we went to the pub, no matter how long we said we were going to stay, it was always at least a two hour affair!

During my trip to London, our group had tea at the Savoy, it was so gorgeous. I’m glad we got to do that, because I wanted to go to the savoy anyways!
I loved Oxford. It was really cool experiencing college life in another country. Plus everyone was really nice!
Yeah, I’m not that big of a spender, (ok, I am. I’m just not a big shopper), but even I had to buy something at Harrod’s! (actually they were all for other people, but still!)
On our free day in London, half of our group went to Greenwich to see the Prime Meridian. It was really fun, plus, I got to be in two places at once!
It was sooo cold the day we went, but it was fun. It wasn’t as crazy as I’m sure football is, but it was still fun. It was awesome seeing a sporting event in another country
This was an adventure. My friends and I took a bus when we were trying to find the Hard Rock Cafe. It was an adventure, but it was hard trying to find when we should get off. We sat on top for a while, but we were afraid of missing our stop, so we went down to the bottom after.
I loved being able to go on the Tube. It was so much fun. Even trying to figure out what tube lines/stops to go on became a game. My friends and I would take different lines and see who was the first at a place. It was an adventure in itself.
My friend Ryan and I went down there and stayed with my Uncle in Port Orange for Spring Break. It was a lot of fun, and we even went to Disney World!
So, this is probably something that most people don’t understand, especially if they’re not in the USA. Script Ohio is something that The Ohio State University marching band performs at football games. It’s a pretty big deal, it’s their signiature, and the dotting of the “i” is pretty special. Only important people & marching band people get to do it. Since I don’t play sousaphone, and I’m not in the marching band, let’s all hope i’m important enough to do it one day!
It was fun, and it’s definitely worth doing once. I don’t believe anything is not worth doing once. BUT. I thought it was going to be much more adrenaline rushing, but all it is is it just feels like you’re floating. It was fun though.
Absolutely, Absolutely, Absolutely worth it. When I was in 8th grade, my friend’s dad paid for me to go with her and him on a cruise of the Mediterranean, it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. We went to Venice, Naples, Pompeii, and Livorno Italy, Nice and Eze France, Monte Carlo, Monaco, Barcelona, Spain, and Lisbon, Portugal. Then we went across the Atlantic Ocean. At the time, the ship I was on was the largest ship in the world. It was AMAZING
My friends and I wandered around for at least an hour trying to find the Original Hard Rock, but at least we had a fun time of it, and got our t-shirts!
When I was young, I used to help my Grandpa make his wine. My cousins and I would do all the stomping of the grapes!
It rained the day I went there, but it was worth it. It was cool, but you can’t really spend more than a half a day there. But its still worth it. It was funny because our tour bus was driving from London, and all of my classmates were pretty much sleeping when we drove up, and i was just staring out the window of the bus. I was staring at this field of sheep and all the sudden Stonehenge popped up. It was really funny. It’s in the middle of nowhere!
