For a free country in which we get to elect our leaders.

For the fact that I can not agree with one sides politics and still not show ugliness and hate as many do on 43 things.

For my wonderful family of 5 children and the lovely wife who has given them to me! 

For imperfect individuals that will step forward and serve in the polictical arena.
For prayer and answeres to prayer!

I am thankful this day 1 week ago

1. For the country I live in. (Best place in the world bar none!)
2. A decent day at work even though this is my long week of the month. (Work this weekend)
3. For corn chowder soup!
4. For beautiful weather.
5. For the song I heard on the way home from work by The Psychedelic Furs. “Love my way” Takes me back to a much simpler time in my life!

Went hiking this morning with my two oldest kids. The peak they are pointing to is the one we were really suppose to be going up. It is seperated from where we are. Photo is a little misleading. There was no safe way over to it. We went the wrong way is what it amounts too. still had a good time! :)
