I am thankful for a ton of things, of course, but the one asset I think is necessary to human life is family. When I mean family, I mean moms, dads, siblings, aunts and uncles, pets (the works), but I also mean those who care about you. Just because you aren’t related doesn’t mean your best friend or your next door neighbor isn’t family. If you didn’t have this type, I believe there would be no such thing as the term “family”. You could even be related to someone and be enemies! Your family is the group that is always there for you when you are down, always supports you when you need help, and “shapes” your life. So the next time you see that kind lady that lives down the street who always gives you crafts from Michael’s, your best buddy who remembers your birthday, or the mailman that always has a smile on his or her face and says that you are going to be a model (a “been there, done that” expirience to all of these things), remember to smile and truly thank them, because these people are your family, and you’ll get good things in return from them.
