I’m such a jack of all trades when it comes to art. I’m okay at most things, but I’m not good at anything. I finally found a medium that I absolutely adore (screen printing), but i can’t find a focus for it. Sometimes I want to do really graphic stuff, sometimes subtle nature stuff, sometimes a ton of color, sometimes no color. I’m inspired by everything from Japanese pop art to Victorian woodcuts to impressionism. I can’t seem to settle on one thing and now I have to for my class and I don’t like any of my ideas. Help me find a focus!

I’ve been listening to Miranda constantly for the last couple of days. Look for them on youtube. Listening to only spanish music really helps. Also, look up the lyrics. If you don’t like electro-pop there’s all kinds of spanish music. I’ve also been only watching movies with spanish dubbing. So far, just disney movies. Put on Resident Evil, but it was much harder to follow. Also making verb flash cards. Oh and of course, I’ve been watching destinos. I have to know what happens to Don Fernando! ;) It’s going good. I want to be close to fluent, or at least very conversational by next summer.

This website is helping me a lot. I don’t have enough coordination to get it from watching people on youtube.
