I have a four wheel drive at the moment and my partner has a dirt bike. We are forever getting out in the bush, bashing around, camping and generally getting rough and dirty. Which I love ;) I really want to learn how to ride a motorbike and get a small one of my own. I think I could be quite good, and it would definately help my fitness goal.
Saving money for this is the first step, no use in learning how to ride if you don’t have a motorbike. This might have to be pushed down the list because I’ve got to get the travel savings started (and decent) before I think about saving for anything else.
Why is saving so hard and neccesary?

It doesn’t. My poor garden get’s very little attention. My partner has been recovering from a broken ankle so all the yard work has been left up to me, and the most I can manage is mowing (which takes about 2 hours) and weeding. I’d really like to have a nice clean house with a beautiful well kept yard.
I did buy a bunch of drought resistant plants (we are on severe water restrictions at the moment) and they are really thriving, and look good the way that I have arranged them. I really need things in pots because I don’t really want to invest in plants that I have to leave behind because I am renting.
For the short term I would my goals are to: mow, whipper snipper, pull down the vine on the front fence and replace it with a new one, and buy half a dozen more pot plants. I would like to have achieved all of this within one month.

I grew up with animals and now that I’m out on my own and renting I haven’t had a pet in 5 years! I miss the constant companionship and fun you can have with a pet.
We’re not allowed one under our lease, but I think I can convince the land lady when I resign the lease to let me have a cat.
This Friday she will (hopefully) have the lease for me to sign and I can put the whole notion to her.
