A few friends and I ran out in the middle of lunch once and danced in the rain. We came back sopping wet with the entire cafeteria staring at us, but it was awesome. ;)

I did NaNo for the first time in 2007. Absolutely loved it, loved the feeling when I sent in my finished story for an official word count and got to see the pretty purple bar on my account. ;) I would recommend doing this with a few friends though, it’s really great to know there’s a few people who you see every day who are just as tired as you. And won’t ask you why you won’t just quit when you start complaing about having nothing to write, or dozing off in class…
