I finally saw snow for the first time in my life the other day! It snowed a bit in Ireland and the mountains I was travelling through had snow all over them! I didn’t get to touch it, but I saw it and it was BEAUTIFUL! Cold, but gorgeous! ;) I would never want to LIVE somewhere that gets cold enough for snow (not permanently anyway) but it is definitely amazing!

It just occurred to me to come update my 43things site! I am actually living in Ireland right now on a study abroad program. I am going to travel tomarrow morning and life is wonderful! Anyone who has the chance to live abroad for atleast a little while…do it. Just do it. Trust me, it is one of the most amazing experiences ever!

learn to play the violin (read all 2 entries…)

So! I took out my moms old violin, dusted it off, begged her to tune it for me, and started learning! It is amazing! I am doing pretty well so far and am whipping through the pages. It helps that I had started learning many years ago (but gave up) so I have the basics ingrained in me. I am learning via book right now, but I would rather learn to play by ear. :-\ Soon, I need to learn the basics and it wouldn’t kill me to learn to read music (erm, relearn…I knew once when I played the clarinet years ago)

Anyone have any tips, hints, advice, etc for me? I’d appreciate it!
