I just got back from posing for an open studio session. We focused on caryotod (sp?) or weight-bearing poses. I did 2 hrs of long poses. I can’t believe just how hard it is to stand, motionless with a box on your shoulders.
I received many compliments for my efforts and was invited back for the next open studio session in two weeks. I am looking forward to it.
I drove to DC and sat in on the figurative models guild meeting. We waited a while, but a few artists arrived and we had a lecture and a modeling session.
The modeling was actually a bit more difficult that you imagine. I even practiced a few stances at home. I guess it is always harder on stage. I managed fine and even received a few compliments on my poses.
I was fortunate in that the organizer is a veteran model and he gave me some good pointers to work on. Overall, it was a fun experience and I am glad I did it.
I have signed up with several local art schools and universities. I should be setting some sessions up next week. I would have liked to have had some before the weather turns colder, but I guess the heat will be good in the studios.

I finally submitted my application for a modeling position. The position wasn’t opened when I inquired so I had to wait until it posted. I guess the die is cast now. The pay line really stinks, but I am looking for the experience-at least I will get gas money. I will let you know how it goes-assuming I get the job.

I have been trying to move some of my “want to trys” to the “done it” list. I am in the process of posing nude for an art class. The funny thing is, the class that has expressed the greatest interest in me modeling is a girls school. Would posing for a girls art class count as CFNM?
You will find this is more of the bowling channel than the playboy channel, but it is fun. Usually the people are quite nice, and naked.
THis can be a blast. I have NEVER had a bad time on a nude beach, even the AYOR ones. My favorite is Haulover Beach in Miami. It is a beautiful beach in its own right, but the dress code is excellent. It is also legal and supported, with on beach massages, catering, etc. Definitely try it out.
I have been busy calling all the local (within 1 hrs drive) colleges to inquire about posing. It is funny, many don’t even reply. I do have one school who is opening a position for me. Hopefully things wsill work out and I will get my experience.
The funny thing is the only school that was interested is a girls school. We will see how that goes.
I have done this as a child, as a teenager and multiple times as an adult. Each one has been unique and enjoyable.
