Hey y’all. I am enjoying a cup of earl grey right this second. I can’t say enough good things about it. I wanted to drink more tea to offset my incessant consumption of coffee. It’s working! After 10am, no more coffee. I’m still mainly drinking caffeinated tea, but it’s certainly a start, and my body feels better for it.

It is a rewarding, interesting profession. I love doing academic reference, and I am happy that I got my MLIS. Don’t believe what ALA is telling you about massive librarian shortages, though. Jobs will likely not be falling into your lap when you graduate with your MLS. That said, if you’re willing to move around, you’ll find something you love. It’s a great field with diverse opportunities.

My husband and I got married almost 5 years ago. It’s sometimes awesome, sometimes messy, sometimes hard, but it was the best decision we ever made. It becomes better than you ever thought it would.
