How I did it: I lived in a household where this toxic sludge was always in the fridge, and at one point I was drinking up to 10 cans a day. I felt terrible, I always wanted more and I got shaky when I didn't have it.I moved to a house where pop is not kept around and drank a lot of tea to transition. How I did it: I was raised near constantly sailing, some of my earliest memories include the smell of oil floating on the surface of the water, the creak of the rigging while falling asleep, and the discomfort of a lifejacket. I learned to swim and walk at the same time, I could sail through the roughest of water without feeling sick and my first license earned was a boating one. How I did it: I had long blonde ringlets, which of course I despised. I wanted dreads for years, my friend got hers done by a "professional", and not wanting to pay somebody 200 dollars to put wax in my hair I decided to do it myself. I did my research and bought some wax (oops!) It took 11 hours of backcombing and a lot of pain, two friends and some whiskey to produce them, two years of backcombing, rubbing, finger webbing, making my own rosemary sham… Read how I did it…
As a full time student, saving money is difficult. I’ll finally get some put away and before I know it I’ll need textbooks or a bus pass or whatever else.
My plan is to open a bank account separate from my current bank and make it so that I have to a teller to withdraw funds.
I’m going to try to work two jobs this summer and keep expenses to a minimum. No more carrying more then five dollars or my bank card for me!
