Going through the process to become a volunteer advocate for abused children in the foster care system through CASA in my local district. I’m totally psyched and this also pacifies my longing to become a social worker.

write a novel (read all 2 entries…)

The previous entry...I'm on a new book 11 months ago

not like I finished the last but I am on to one that has chapters. I have 2 others I want to write which includes the one from my previous entry. Writing is like pain to me these days and so is reading. I attribute this pain to the numerous papers I have had to write since I started on my educational journey in 2003 and the terrible books I have read in the past 2 years. In the past I was able to be inspired by the authors that I enjoyed but I can’t do this now since there is too much bad literature out there.

I’m still hopeful though.

accept my sexiness

Finally 11 months ago

at 31 years old I finally think I am a beautiful person!! Not necessarily sexy but I do think my looks are pretty great. I don’t really look like any others outside of family and I’m proud of that now when I used to scoff at it and wonder why.

I enjoy my unique physical features. It’s no fun being normal.
