Whenever it moves you, write a song. It might just start with a few words or a rhyme or just this undeniable feeling of inspiration. Write a song. Even if nobody else gets it or if it sounds completely retarded when you read it over because this is JUST FOR YOU and the more you write, the more you love it. It builds your confidence and gives you something to do, giving you a sense of true self-worth and keeping you in touch with a more artistic, passionate, FUCKING COOLER part of you.

I’m not even entirely sure that I’m no longer depressed- it’s a disorder that’s part of me so it’s not really a matter of beating it or having it go away. But I’m happier most of the time. People say that I seem better, I dont know… It’s just nice to tell myself that I’m better. Things will continue to improove; I will never go back to that place. Ever.
I don’t know what’s changed except chemicals. But really, taking the energy and doing what seems completely impossible from where you are standing (or sitting, lying, whatever) right now can change you in the smallest but most important of ways.
Nobody is worthless, there is always someone who unconditionally loves or cares for someone else even though you might not see them right now- if that makes sense.
just BE who you are and i think im a scene kid.
i kind of hate labels but it’s all good.
still i dont have “scene” clothes. i just love music-it’s a BIGGG part of my life.
