19 pounds down . . .

Something clicked inside me recently . . . I’ve just been eating 1200-1600 calories a day and walking a couple miles. Yesterday I got a jump rope. I’m practically 1/4 of the way to 80 pounds. But I can’t think about that right now. My next goal is just to get to 20lb. And to stop eating so much Easy Mac.

10 pounds down, 90 to go

Well I’ve lost ten pounds so far . . . eating less (1000-1500 per day), exercising (walking 2-4 miles per day), and keeping track of everything on calorie-count.com. I’ve also lost 2 inches off my waist and 2 inches from my hips. Go me!

On my way

I started out at 230 a week ago and now I’m 226 thanks to not eating as much and starting 2 pretty physical jobs. That sounds huge and it’s pretty big ‘m about a size 18 or 20. I have never been thin or even normal. I’m hoping to be 130 in about a year. According to lots of sources (including my doc), 130 is an appropriate weight for me (I’m 5’7” with a small frame) but it’s a little intimidating to write 4 pounds down, 96 to go.

Having just started those jobs, I haven’t fit in a workout yet. However, I plan on trying to fit in yoga DVDs, trail biking, and DDR once I get into the swing of things. For now, though, doing inventory and cleaning the store are wearing me out. Good luck everyone!
