It took a lot of hard work and determination, but I’ve finally dropped below 175. I started my journey at the beginning of 2007, at a weight of 230. A week ago, I stepped on the scale to find that I was at 174.8, and I’ve stayed below 175 since then :) It feels great! I’ve dropped from a size 18 pants to a loose fitting size 13. It’s definitely worth it!

Mechanical engineering undergrad here, at UMBC :) Classes have been tough but extremely interesting thus far. I’m leaning toward aerospace engineering in grad school, but I still have some time to think about that.
Still trying...

I started my lifestyle change in January at 230 pounds. I’m down almost 40 pounds since then, but I’ve been hovering since summer started :( I really want to be 140 or less by Christmas (and keep it OFF!), so I’m hoping that combining this with blogging will help me stay motivated…
