I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced, but they
Out-did the sparkling leaves in glee;
A poet could not be but gay,
In such a jocund company!
I gazed and gazed but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

I am horrible when it comes to telling stories. I get so detailed that either I forget my point or just take forever to get to it. Too many times have I just stopped talking because I know the “listener” is falling asleep, bored out of their mind, trying really hard to stay alive, or giggling because they have no idea where I am going… I just want to get to the point, be witty, and charming.

I lived in South Kensington for a little over three months with a Study Abroad program through my university. Our classes allowed us to visit tons of museums, galleries, and tourist sites. We attended plays, musicals, and operas. I saw the Queen, Prince William, and Camilla. I stayed at Cambridge university, walked on all floors of Harrod’s, visited Big Ben, and a few abbeys, and so much more. I am well aware of the bus and underground systems. The international diversity and culture of the city is amazing and the ease of visiting other countries is incredible. While I was living there, I visited France, Ireland (2x), Italy, and Prague. This was a time in my life which I will never forget and will hopefully do again soon.
