We’ve been dating for 10 months and I just met his parents yesterday. I was very nervous but it ended up being a lot of fun and I like them so much! I just hope they like me even though I have social anxiety and had a difficult time talking with them. Things are very serious with the boyfriend and I am very hopeful and confident about our relationship. This makes me immensely happy.

How I did it: I just realized that to get anything done and to have anyone else like me I had to love myself first. I picked myself apart before and thought I wasn't __ enough, or too ___ etc. Now I just constantly say positive things about myself and reassure myself that it isn't as bad as I think or as I make it out to be most of the time. This is the only person I am ever going to be so why not love myself completely? I honestly do love the person I… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Well I don't know if it took me 3 months to regularly exercise but I did have a few lapses from being sick or other reasons. I started exercising 3 months ago and I just love it. Running is exceptionally fun and so rewarding feeling. It's a great time for me to relax and just think, not to mention be alone for once.I just kept with it even when I felt tired or lazy. That's really the only secret to keeping it up. Push through and don't gi… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I've felt ugly for as long as I could remember. I would ask all of my friends if I was ugly constantly, and never accepted anything less than yes. I hated who I was and always wished I could be someone else or look like someone else, even as a little girl.I finally just realized all that wishing wasn't going to get me anywhere except further and further into depression. If I can never be what I want then I could never be happy. I looked a… Read how I did it…

I made the mistake of viewing girls’ profiles on myspace and facebook that I used to be jealous of in high school. They’re all so beautiful and have their lives together, I’m so jealous. Pretty much all of them have kids or are pregnant though, and I am jealous because my baby is 2 now. :( At the same time I can’t help but laugh since they are having kids while they’re teenagers. (I’m a hypocrite but it’s funny because now they can’t make fun of me for it!) But at the same time, at least they have jobs and are in college while I can’t find a job and am unable to start college until I can get money. :(
I’m so depressed.
